PaperC Speaks English!
We made it! After lots of work and organizing, we’ve turned our international users’ most frequent request into reality: PaperC now provides an English user interface.
All browsers set to a language other than German show the English UI. International users can thus easily access books on PaperC. On our platform, there are thousands of books by renowned publishers that can be read online for free, and hundreds of books written in English – such as those by O’Reilly Media.
As everything on PaperC and online nowadays, our translation is still a beta version. Please feel free to contact us with any comments on it, like: “That button totally needs a new name”, “what in the world is that dialogue supposed to mean?” or “why is there no way to do xy on PaperC?”. We will be very happy to either explain to you what we intended, and/or optimize PaperC and our new UI with your help and input.
Your impact will be biggest if you submit your ideas and comments to our Feedback Forum, which is still in German but will enter a Babylonian stage once you send us your first English comment. If you prefer e-mail, contact our Support Team.
We have also started switching our online communication to English: The PaperC Blog, our Facebook, Twitter, Identi.ca, FriendFeed and ScienceFeed accounts.
For bloggers and journalists, there is now a new English PaperC press page.
